How do I search for tools, furniture, collectibles, or other items at estate sales?

Use the search bar to look for keywords such as tools, jewelry, vintage furniture, collectibles, toys, or decor. Sale titles, descriptions, and tags help you find the types of items you are interested in.

How do I save my favorite estate sales to view later?

Click the heart icon on any listing to save it. Your favorites appear in your My Account page and in the Favorites sidebar on the map when you are logged in. This makes it easy to revisit sales or plan your shopping route.

How accurate are the estate sale dates and times on Estate Goldmine?

Sellers enter their own dates and opening and closing times. Estate Goldmine displays the schedule they provide and automatically removes sales from the map on the final day.

Why does Estate Goldmine show both estate sales and yard and garage sales on the same map?

Estate Goldmine includes both estate sales and yard or garage sales so shoppers can see everything happening in one place. A fuller map brings in more viewers, which increases traffic to professional estate sales. Shoppers can easily filter by sale type, and many people who enjoy secondhand shopping browse both. Including all sales keeps the platform active, helps sellers reach a larger audience, and increases exposure for everyone.

Why can’t I see the full address for an estate sale yet?

Some sellers choose to hide the exact address until a specific date and time for privacy or security. Until then, the map shows only a general area. When the reveal time arrives, the full address appears automatically on the sale detail page and on the map.

How do I filter estate sales by category, style, or type of items?

You can use the search bar and sale descriptions to find the styles and categories you enjoy, such as vintage furniture, tools, collectibles, toys, or decor. Photos and tags in each listing help you quickly see whether a sale matches what you like to shop for.

Do I need an Estate Goldmine account to post an estate sale or yard sale?

Yes. Creating a free account lets you post and manage sales, edit your listings, and see them in your dashboard. Both professional liquidators and private sellers are welcome.

Does Estate Goldmine charge sellers to post estate sales?

During our beta period, posting sales is free. Each seller receives a limited number of free Goldmine Credits each month that can be used to publish active sales. If you expect to run more sales than your monthly credits cover, contact customer support so we can work with you. As the platform grows, we may add optional paid upgrades or additional credits, but our goal is to keep costs lower than large listing sites so more of each sale stays in your pocket.
