Sponsor
The Estate Goldmine August 2026 Giveaway (“Giveaway”) is sponsored by Heather Hinds, owner and operator of Estate Goldmine (“Sponsor”). Questions may be sent to hello@estategoldmine.com.

Entry Period
The Giveaway begins at 12:00 AM Pacific Time on August 1, 2026 and ends at 11:59 PM Pacific Time on August 23, 2026 (“Entry Period”). Sponsor’s records are the official timekeeping method.

Eligibility
Open to legal residents of California who are at least 18 years old at the time of entry and are able to redeem the prize in the Sacramento area. Employees, contractors and representatives of Sponsor, River City Estate Liquidators, and their immediate family or household members are not eligible. Void where prohibited.

How to Enter
During the Entry Period, submit a valid email address through the official Giveaway form on this page. Existing Estate Goldmine subscribers are eligible but must submit the Giveaway form during the Entry Period to be entered. Limit one entry per person and email address. Automated, incomplete, fraudulent or duplicate entries may be disqualified.

Email Disclosure
By entering, entrants agree to receive Estate Goldmine’s weekly Sale Alerts and related EGM updates at the email address provided. Entrants may unsubscribe at any time. Unsubscribing will not invalidate an otherwise eligible Giveaway entry submitted before the Entry Period ends.

Prize
One winner will receive a $100 cash prize, delivered through Venmo or another payment method mutually agreed upon by the Sponsor and winner. The prize has an approximate retail value of $100 and may be used however the winner chooses. The winner is responsible for providing the information reasonably necessary to receive the prize.

Winner Selection and Odds
On or about August 24, 2026, one potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

Winner Notification
The potential winner will be contacted using the email address submitted with the entry and must respond within 72 hours. Sponsor may require confirmation of eligibility before awarding the prize. If the potential winner cannot be contacted, does not respond by the deadline, is ineligible, or declines the prize, Sponsor may select an alternate winner at random.

Prize Delivery and Announcement
Prize delivery or pickup arrangements will be made directly with the confirmed winner. Where permitted and with the winner’s consent, Sponsor may announce the winner’s first name and last initial through Estate Goldmine’s website, email list or social media accounts.

General Conditions
Sponsor may disqualify anyone who tampers with the entry process, violates these Official Rules, acts fraudulently, or disrupts the Giveaway. If fraud, technical failure or another circumstance beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control affects the integrity of the Giveaway, Sponsor may suspend, modify or terminate it and, if practical, select a winner from eligible entries received before the affected time.

Release and Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, entrants release Sponsor, Estate Goldmine, River City Estate Liquidators, and their owners, employees, contractors and representatives from claims arising from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance, possession or use of the prize, except where such a release is prohibited by law. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misdirected or technically corrupted entries.

Privacy
Information collected through the Giveaway will be used to administer the Giveaway, contact the winner, and send the email communications disclosed above, as described in the Privacy Policy on this page.

Facebook and Instagram Disclaimer
This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. By entering, entrants release Facebook and Instagram from responsibility relating to this Giveaway.

Governing Law
The Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

This Privacy Policy explains how Estate Goldmine collects, uses and shares information when you visit the website, create an account, post or view a sale, join Sale Alerts, contact us or enter a giveaway.
Information we collect
We may collect information you provide, including your name, email address, account information, sale details, photos, seller or business information, messages, favorites and giveaway entries. The website and its service providers may also automatically receive technical and usage information such as your IP address, browser or device type, pages viewed, approximate location, referring page, form-submission time and information used for security and fraud prevention.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve Estate Goldmine, operate accounts and sale listings, display map results, respond to questions, send requested Sale Alerts and related updates, administer giveaways, select and contact winners, prevent duplicate or fraudulent activity, measure site performance and promote Estate Goldmine.
How information may be shared
Information included in a public sale listing may be visible to website visitors. We may also share information with service providers that help us operate the website, host data, send email through MailerLite, provide maps, prevent spam, analyze site use or run advertising. These providers may process information under their own terms and privacy practices. We may disclose information when required by law, to protect rights or safety, or as part of a business transfer. Estate Goldmine does not exchange subscriber names or email addresses for money.
Cookies and similar technologies
Estate Goldmine and its providers may use cookies or similar technologies for site functionality, preferences, analytics, security and advertising. You can limit cookies through your browser settings, although some site features may not work properly. Because there is not currently a uniform industry standard for browser-based “Do Not Track” signals, the site may not respond to those signals.
Your choices and requests
You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any EGM email. To ask what personal information we have about you or request correction or deletion of information you provided, email hello@estategoldmine.com. We may need to verify your request. Certain information may be retained when reasonably necessary to provide the service, administer a giveaway, prevent fraud, comply with law or maintain appropriate records.
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law. We use reasonable administrative and technical measures intended to protect information, but no website or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed completely secure.
Children’s privacy
Estate Goldmine is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
